Purpose

This guide explains how to integrate the Arista Networks (Mojo) WiFi solution with the Cloud4Wi Splash Page. To ensure a successful deployment, you must configure the RADIUS server, define the Walled Garden, and set up the Captive Portal settings within the Arista Launchpad/CV-CUE dashboard.

Please note that the images contained in this article may contain outdated configuration data. You must check the data contained in the article "Parameters for the Solution" at the bottom of the page as they are certainly up to date.
 

Prerequisites

The configuration procedure has been performed and tested with following firmware version:

  • 8.0.138

Before integrating the controller with Cloud4Wi, it is necessary that:

  • the access point is connected to the Internet and reachable on the network
  • the access point has an IP address assigned (DHCP or static) and it is reachable through the network
     

Logging in

Please open a web browser, go to https://launchpad.wifi.arista.com/ and log in

Click on CV-CUE (CloudVision WiFi)

WLAN (SSID) Creation & Captive Portal Setup

Navigate to: Configure > WiFi > SSIDs

To create the wireless network for the solution, click Add SSID and follow these steps:

  • SSID Name: Enter your preferred network name (e.g., Guest_WiFi).

  • Profile Name: Define a name for the profile.

Captive Portal Configuration

Under the Captive Portal tab, enable the portal and configure the following:

  • Portal Type: Select External.

  • Splash Page URL: Enter the URL provided in your Cloud4Wi Dashboard.

  • Shared secret: cloud4wi_mojo.

Walled Garden (Websites that users can access before login.)

Within the same section, you must define the Walled Garden list to allow users to access the Splash Page and authentication resources before logging in:

  • Add all required domains (e.g., *.cloud4wi.com )

  • Ensure that social login domains are included if social authentication is enabled.

Important: Remember to click Save or Update at the bottom of the page to apply the configuration to the SSID.

Navigate to: Configure > RADIUS

Before configuring the SSID, you must define the RADIUS servers. Add both Primary and Secondary servers using the following details:

  • Server Name: Give the server a recognizable name (e.g., Cloud4Wi_Primary).

  • IP Address: Enter the RADIUS IP provided by Cloud4Wi

  • Shared Secret: Enter the secret key provided for your Tenant.

  • Authentication Port: Enter the UDP port provided for your Tenant.

  • Accounting Port: Enter the UDP port provided for your Tenant.

Note: Ensure that RADIUS Accounting is enabled for these servers to allow the system to track user sessions correctly.

For Mojo devices, the Admin Panel requires only the MAC address. The Identifier field is not required.
