Note: We are transitioning our terminology from Internet Plans to Time Policies. You may see both terms used interchangeably while we gradually update our documentation.
By clicking on a specific contact from your User Directory, you access the Contact Profile Page. This dashboard provides a comprehensive, 360-degree view of a single user—aggregating their demographic data, network access status, active Time Policies, and technical connection logs.
Because Cloud4Wi supports various user types (Guests, Sponsored visitors, and Trusted BYOD employees), the profile page is fully dynamic. It automatically displays only the cards, fields, and administrative actions relevant to that specific user's onboarding method and current status.
1. Contact Identity & Management (Left Panel)
The left side of the profile is dedicated to the user's identity, general attributes, and administrative actions.
Location Map
If sufficient connection data is available, a localized map visually highlights the venues where the user has been most active.
Main Profile Card
This card displays the user's core demographic details collected during registration (e.g., First Name, Email, Phone Number, First Seen Date, and their assigned Group Policy).
The "MORE" Button: Clicking MORE expands the profile to reveal extended attributes such as Birthdate, Address, Organization, Gender, and specific compliance statuses (e.g., Verified Email, Age Verification, Marketing Opt-ins).
Action Menu (Three Dots): At the top right of this card, administrators can open a dropdown menu to Edit the user's details, Delete the account entirely, or Export their raw profile data into a CSV file.
2. Wi-Fi Account Status
If the user is authorized to access the wireless network, the WiFi Account card appears below the main profile. This section is the control center for network gatekeeping.
Account Details: Displays the active network username, the account type (e.g., Guest, Trusted, Sponsored), and the access policy currently governing their session.
Time Policy: Displays the specific Time Policy currently assigned to the user profile, dictating their connection constraints.
Current Status: Indicates whether the network access is currently Enabled or Disabled.
Dynamic Fields & Actions: Depending on the state of the account, this card may dynamically display an expiration date, or quick-action links such as Confirm Registration (if an email/SMS validation is pending).
Security Menu: The dropdown menu in this card allows administrators to manually override the system, giving the option to forcefully Lock or Unlock the user's network access.
3. Activity & Diagnostics (Right Panel Tabs)
The right side of the page features a tabbed interface containing historical logs, hardware tracking, and troubleshooting tools.
Activity: A chronological timeline of the user's major interactions with your ecosystem, such as their initial WiFi Sign-Up event or automated marketing triggers.
Devices: Lists all physical hardware (smartphones, laptops) registered under the user's profile, displaying the device's exact MAC Address, the venue where it connected, and the timestamp of when it was Last Seen.
Internet Plans: Displays any active time allowances associated with the user, showing the total and remaining time credits. From this tab, administrators can manually manage quotas:
Click the Add Plan button to provision an additional time allowance pass.
Click the Trash icon to revoke or delete an active time restriction policy.
Connections: A detailed, real-time log of the user's RADIUS network sessions. It highlights if the user is currently Online and tracks the Start/Stop times, data consumption (Duration/MB), the specific Location, and the Access Point used.
Notifications: The primary troubleshooting tab. It logs critical system events, access rejections, or error messages (e.g., "User disabled", "Invalid password"), helping IT staff quickly diagnose why a user might be failing to connect.
