The People section serves as the central directory within the Cloud4Wi Dashboard. It provides a real-time, searchable list of all end-users authorized to use the wireless service—including Guest Users, Sponsored Visitors, and Trusted BYOD staff.
To access the user directory, click the People button in the left quick access toolbar.
Directory Toolbar Actions
The command toolbar at the top of the directory allows you to manage the list database through three primary actions:
Add: Opens a configuration form to manually create and provision a new end-user directly from the dashboard.
Export: Downloads the entire user directory (or your currently filtered view) into a structured CSV file for external reporting or auditing.
Columns: Customizes your table layout. Clicking this button allows you to choose which data fields to display as columns in the main list. To keep the interface clean and readable, you can display between one and seven fields simultaneously.
Filtering, Searching, and Bulk Actions
The main directory table includes built-in tools designed to handle large volumes of user records efficiently:
Smart Search Filters
Directly above each column header, there is a dedicated smart search filter text box. Typing a query into these fields allows you to perform targeted, real-time searches within that specific attribute (e.g., searching for a specific username, email domain, or phone number).
Bulk Actions & Selection
Individual Selection: Click the checkbox next to any user's row to select their profile for administrative action.
Select All: Checking the box in the table's header row automatically selects all users currently displayed on the page.
Bulk Delete: Once one or more users are selected, the Delete button becomes active. Clicking it permanently purges those accounts and all their related data from the platform.
Navigating to User Details
The directory list acts as the gateway to deeper diagnostics. Clicking directly on a user's name or row within the table redirects you immediately to their individual Contact Profile Page, where you can review their active Time Policies, technical connection logs, and registered hardware devices.
