The following error messages and notifications may be displayed to end-users on the Splash Page after the authentication process.
Credentials & Account Status
Username not valid
The username entered does not exist in the platform database. The user should check for spelling mistakes or typos and try again.Password check failed
The user is recognized by the system, but the password provided is incorrect. The user must verify their credentials and retry.Customer disabled
The user profile has been suspended or locked by an Organization Manager or Location Manager using the platform's lock feature. Access will remain blocked until a platform manager reactivates the profile. The account is expired
The user account has reached its absolute expiration date or a pre-configured lifetime limit (e.g. Sponsorship Validation). Unlike a temporary browsing policy expiration, this account is permanently inactive unless extended by a platform manager.
Policies & Time Constraints
Invalid product
The user does not have an active Time Policy assigned, and no Default Time Policy has been configured for this Location. The system will automatically switch to Self-Provisioning mode, redirecting the user to select or purchase a policy directly from the Splash Page.Service Profile expired
The user's previously assigned Time Policy has been fully consumed or has reached its validity time limit. The system will switch to Self-Provisioning mode, requiring the user to select a new policy on the Splash Page to resume browsing. You're not authorized
The Group Policy associated with this specific user account restricts network access. This happens when the account is blocked from connecting due to location constraints, user-group profiling, or time-of-day access limits.
Network Constraints & Session Limits
User already connected
An active session already exists for this account. This occurs if a previous session did not terminate correctly (the system is waiting for the interim accounting timeout) or if the user is attempting to log in simultaneously from multiple devices with a single-device restriction. The user should wait a brief moment or disconnect the other device.Wi-Fi hotspot is busy, please try later. Thank you!
The maximum capacity of concurrent users allowed for this network infrastructure has been reached. This block is triggered when the connection load exceeds the platform license limits or local hardware thresholds.
Infrastructure & Mapping Errors
WiFi Area not valid
The user is attempting to authenticate at a physical site where their credentials are not recognized. This typically happens when a Location's Identity Domain is restricted locally to a single site rather than set organization-wide, requiring a new registration for this specific area.Invalid hotspot
The connection request is originating from an Access Point hardware gateway that has not been registered or mapped on the Cloud4Wi platform. Because the hardware cannot be attributed to any valid digital Location, the authentication request is automatically rejected.Error
A generic system or network communication error has occurred that does not match any of the specific scenarios listed above. Users should refresh the Splash Page and try again.
